Word on the Street

Word on the Street Evangelistic Association, founded in 2001, is a Christ-centered 501(c) (3) tax-exempt public charity. We exist to share the gospel with unbelievers and to equip believers to faithfully and biblically share the gospel with family members, friends, co-workers, and acquaintances. We believe that salvation is the gracious act of God through faith in Christ; we believe that God eternally exist in three Persons (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit); we believe that the Holy Spirit is a person; we believe that Christ was born of a virgin; we believe that Christ is fully God; we believe that the Scripture does not contradict itself and is without error in its original writing, we believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ, and we believe in the bodily second coming of Christ.

Since 2001, Word on the Street has shared the gospel of Christ with over 20,000 people and over 1,600 people have trusted Christ for eternal life. Through our Equipping the Saints training, 10 churches have been equipped to share the gospel in their communities. Since 2009, in partnership with 1000 Hills Ministry, Word on the Street has provided meals, hygiene items, and blankets for over 11,000 people in inner city neighborhoods in Houston, Texas. We are committed to sharing the gospel and serving the community.
